Frequently Asked Questions
1. What dance style should we choose as a wedding dance?
There are many dance styles to choose from and depending on what style your song is, what you like and how much time we have, we can suggest what would best suit you. Popular dance styles to choose from include the Waltz, Rumba, Salsa, Tango, Foxtrot, Swing/Rock’n’Roll, Blues, Cha Cha, Top 40’s, Argentine Tango, Bachata, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep or even modern styles like Hip Hop or Michael Jackson style dances.
2. How many lessons will we need?
The total amount of lessons needed depends on the desired outcome, the time you have available, and the ability of the couple. If you envision a professional standard routine you will need more lessons than someone who is looking for a more simply choreographed dance. Either way, we guarantee you will feel comfortable and look great on your special day. Book a free dance lesson today, and talk with one of our expert instructors about what you might like.
3. Do we need to bring music?
If you have chosen your song, you can bring it with you to your first free lesson. We will have access to all the music you will need after that. We can also suggest a variety of songs for you if you have not chosen your song yet. Our library of music has songs to cater to all styles of music, all styles of people and everything in between.
4. What time is best to book a dance lesson?
Your lessons are designed to fit in with your schedule. You can book a lesson any day and any time that you choose, and we aim to accommodate all your chosen times. We are open by appointment from 12:00 pm until 10:00pm from Monday – Friday and from 2:00pm – 7:00pm Saturday and Sunday for your convenience.

10. How early should we start our wedding dance?
The sooner the better! This is an important factor to keep in mind when starting to think about your First Dance, so try not to leave it until the last minute. In general, it’s better to start and finish your dance leading up to the big day so you have the time to learn at your own pace, and just practice it a couple of weeks before the wedding day. We recommend all couples to come in at least 5 months prior to the wedding so you have the time – no matter the ability – to learn your dance without needing to think about the “dance steps” themselves, you will be able to enjoy it more!
